It's that time of year again - and by that time of year, I mean the point where the ADHD demon in my brain compels me to remake my entire online presence. Again. For like the millionth time. So here I am, making all previous entries in this blog private - they're really only for me, anyway - and starting fresh. A clean slate.

So, hi. I'm Rian. I write stuff. Sometimes I'll share that stuff here. I used to maintain a separate community just to post my writing, but honestly, that's too much work. Much easier to just post it all to my main journal, where it can be collected in one place.

You know, apart from the handful of other platforms where I post things. But anything I post online will always be cross-posted here, as much for my convenience as anyone else's.

I will be posting two short stories here to start out with: How to Avoid Unnecessary Death, a story I wrote in 2018 and which has been posted several other places, but at this point, I feel like it's my signature short story. I will also be posting Ritual, a short piece I wrote for a prompt challenge, ~~also in 2018~~ in 2016-2017, it turns out, that has gotten a slight revamp.

So that's it. That's what's happening. I'm going to try my best to start posting more writing here - as well as just posting more here, in general.
